The Works (1593) By Richard Hooker.

Hooker’s writings gave birth to the Anglican theological thought. He was influenced by Vindiciae Contra Tyrannos (Defences [of liberty] against tyrants) a Huguenot tract which also greatly influenced the founding fathers. Hooker explored in the laws of nature and laws of God within the various books of the Laws of the Ecclesiastical Polity in great detail and his writings had tremendous influence on the Americans especially the founding fathers of 1776.
