The Spirit of the Laws

M. de Secondat, baron de Montesquieu, a French man, wrote the Spirit of the Laws. Montesquieu was one of the favorites of our founders and the Spirit of the Laws tremendously influenced our Constitutional system especially the idea of separation of powers. The Spirit of the Laws contains 31 books is about 726 pages.
